Referral System

I have finally set up a referral system. Log in to your portfolio to see the unique URL to give to your friends, and receive a $1,000 reward when they sign up!

Also Alexa seems to be having problems with their system, so if you are having difficulties updating a site you may have to try again later.

No more restrictions

The update restrictions have been removed due to user complaint.

Update Restrictions

People are asking me why they get an error that says "Maximum 50 update requests allowed per day!".
This is because everytime you click on update, Alexa charges us a small fee for their data. With the current amount of traffic we receive, it would cost us more than $400 every year! So we have decided to limit the update requests to save us some money, until we can balance it out from advertising and donations. So please help us, and click on the google ads at the bottom of the page, and feel free to send in your donations to keep Alexa Share going.

Updates Back

Updates are enabled again, sorry if you had to wait but british timezone meant that I was asleep when they came back online!

No Updates

The last updates from Alexa were on September 2nd - 5 days ago! All updates on Alexa Share have therefore been disabled until Alexa updates its own site.

Site Rules

The new site rules have been put into immediate effect for every user. Also accounts must now be activated via email before completing registration.

Chat Room

We have a new chat room so please come and join in the fun! You can use the web interface or join #AlexaShare on irc.quakenet.org.

Private Messaging

Hot new feature - an Alexa Share private messaging system!
When you login you will notice a 3rd bar which displays the total new messages you have. Click the link at anytime to view your inbox, its all pretty straight forward.
Also made a few minor updates to the site here and there...
